If the cold air hangs or slows down, won't be much snow. Looks like a heavy rain storm for most part and a fast storm.

It's heavy snow for NE NJ and a very marginal situation for NYC, but this whole storm is a little too close to comfort, as under this unfavorable pattern everything has to end up just right - any more west and it's a soaking rain, any more east and it's just snow showers. At least the positive is that there is actually snow to track...

New GFS/NAM run doesn't look good for MidAt. The cold air in place for Wed night Thurs am doesn't look there. So, now maybe just some flakes.
