People panic!
If you live in the path of Winter Storm Pax and you haven't stocked up on essentials like bread, milk and eggs, you may be out of luck.
This storm is forecast to drop thick ice from north Georgia to the Carolinas, and meteorologists warn trees and power lines could come down.
By Monday night, grocery stores across the region turned into madhouses, as people cleared eggs, milk, bread -- and even spinach, in my Publix -- off store shelves. (The wine and beer aisles were pretty busy, too).
