Why do they use models now instead of forecasting like they used too. They were much more accurate when they used their college learning and read maps and information to form a forecast instead of just firing up a computer to see "what someone else says will happen".
I don't see the accuracy anymore in them using "models". Our weatherman says, "We have two models to show you tonight, one shows a possibility of rain, and one shows none. " What kind of forecasting is that.

They change ours nearly hourly here. Almost like they walk outside and look or something.
