IS THE EARTH FLAT? Some time ago, one of my best friends became a flat earther. It put a strain on our friendship. In fact you can say we are not even friends anymore. In this past year, another friend of mine became a flat earther. Both claim to be Christians, and they claimed the Bible supports a flat earth.
But, there were certain problems. The deep oceans, for example, different stages of the moon, eclipses, etc. So, one came up with a dome theory.
This is what the earth looks like based on the dome theory...
So, to deal with certain issues, the earth had to have some curvature.
My one friend even concluded that the earth doesn't move. That the entire universe orbits the earth. And they think we who believe the earth travels on it's axis at 10,000 miles per hour at the equator are crazy. How fast does Alpha Centauri have to go to orbit the earth?
Anyway, what do you think?

I don't know. I do have a few friends who are flat earthers. Do you ever talk to them about it? If so, what is their proof?

I just hit me, when rereading my article, "Climate Change." If the earth was truly flat, and does not move, the sun's rays would be more evenly distributed. We wouldn't have all the climate zones we have.

I talk to them, but just like politics, you can't even have a good discussion without them going off on you. LOL
