Is it my imagination, or is there a lull in the weather? I haven't heard anything serious about the weather in sometime. Oh there's the Gatlinburg fire in Tennessee. Some severe storminess with high wind damage perhaps tornados. Perhaps Lake Effect snows. But that isn't to out of the ordinary.

I haven't seen a whole bunch of serious news about the weather. Am I missing something?
