It's not winter yet officially and we have had 3 snows already. Even though they where small ones it still nice to see snow in December which rarely happens here.

The arctic air is still around for another couple of days then a big warm up. It'll feel like spring when the temps get back in the 40's. late next weekend.

A cold start to winter but we could see more normal temps and above normal from Mid Jan through the start of Feb.

Your right yep. It's well above normal in Alaska, mid 40's. All that cold air is here. They will get cold again soon and we will warm up to normal.

Anchorage 33 degrees and snow. That is warm for them.
