It was one of those moments where I wanted to run and get my camera. Of course, it would not've been much use even if I did — even if I had it on me at the time. (You know how it is with capturing photographs of lightning.)
Alas, I've never seen something like it again, neither that night or any other since: The cloud–to–ground stroke had an obvious infinity sign ∞ right there on the main streamer.
Has anyone ever seen something like that?
