It was one of those moments where I wanted to run and get my camera. Of course, it would not've been much use even if I did — even if I had it on me at the time. (You know how it is with capturing photographs of lightning.) Alas, I've never seen something like it again, neither that night or any other since: The cloud–to–ground stroke had an obvious infinity sign ∞ right there on the main streamer.

Never seen this. I know in Florida this summer we had lots of sky to ground lighting. I think I captured some on video but not sure if it was what you mentioned.
